Scottsdale Lions Club

Maggie's Place

Maggie's Place is a community that provides houses of hospitality for expectant women who wish to achieve their goals in a dignified atmosphere.

Lions help in a variety of ways -- from making dinner for the mothers, to keeping their home clean and in good repair during a Work Saturday each month.

Leader Dogs for the Blind

Leader Dogs for the Blind programs enhance the lives of people who are blind, visually impaired and Deaf-blind.

All programs are offered free-of-charge to the recipient, including travel expenses within North America, room and board and most equipment costs.

The cost of the training of these magnificent creatures and their student, a process that takes years of raising these special puppies and then training them with their partner is now close to $40,000.00. That’s a lot of $1, $2 and $5 donations!!!

Lions help finance the program through fundraising and awareness.

Lions White Cane

Our White Cane Program comprises many different fundraising objectives, and is our most visible program. We are most recognized standing outside A.J.’S, Fry’s  or Basha’s raising money for local community projects. Every cent raised goes directly to local programs.
